Configuring ODBC to access the database MS SQL Server

  1. Start the program the Data Source Administrator.
  2. In section User DSN or System DSN click Add button.
  3. In the appeared window choose driver SQL Server and click the Next button.

 

 

4. A window of setting the data source appears. Enter a name of data source, for example, ExzampleSql.

 

 

 

5. Use the tag Use by default a database, then choose a file of database SQL Server (for example, master).

 

 

6. Click Next and then on the next page - Done.

7. Check the workability of the created data source

 

 

8. Choose menu item Base-> Close all in the GIS Map 2011 program. Then activate the project (Base-> Open project, or Base-> New project). After activation of the window the Administrator of a database on the Table tab click Add button.

9. Choose an alias, for example, ExzampleSql.

 

 

10. Choose a table name and click Add button.

 

 

At use of driver ODBC for SQL Server the computer with installed MS SQL Server is necessary.
