To perform calculations by matrix of a basin's bottom, you must have an open matrix of bottom topography of format MTW.

Calculations are performed with use of a set of heights marks corresponding to levels of water's lift (column «Depth (m)»). During calculations consistently the mirror's areas (F) and water basin's volumes (V) are defined. Dependences F = f(Zw/b) and V = f (Zw/b) are called accordingly as curves of the areas of a mirror and water basin's volumes (Z w/b - current level of water's lifting of water pool). The range of levels of water's lifting can be set in windows the Minimum and the Maximum.

Areas of water mirror F are established by planimetry of horizontals (isobaths) with vertical interval through 0,5 m. Size of vertical interval can be set in window the Step of elevation level.

Water basin's volume is determined by consecutive summation of volumes of the separate layers of water contained between two adjacent horizontals. The volume of each layer of water V, million cubic meter, is defined by the formula:

_engbm509

where: Fi and Fi+1 - the areas of water's mirror on two adjacent levels;

h - height of water layer between levels, m.

The total volume of water basin is equal:

_engbm510

where: n - number of layers.

At this way of constructing a curve of water basin's volumes it is supposed that the water level in a water basin is horizontal. The volumes corresponding to horizontal position of a water level, are named the static.

Results of calculations by matrix of a bottom's relief are accumulated in the table of a database and by means of the button To Excel can be saved in format Excel.
