Software the Passport of the field is aimed at special application in agriculture and is intended for creation, editing and a print of maps of fields, maintenance of a database of fields history and soil fertility with customizing the user forms for viewing attributive data, formation of queries and reports.

The interface of the user is aimed at solving the tasks of creation and applied use of the digital maps of fields together with a database of fields history and soil fertility.

The important information for management of agriculture is the information about the structure and characteristics of the soil. This information is characterized by a large number of parameters and heterogeneity of their values.

Thus, it is necessary for agrobusiness to solve two problems:

- to calculate the amount of necessary fertilizers and pesticides;

- to introduce fertilizers for those sites of a field where they are really necessary.

To solve the first problem it is necessary to accumulate data on a crop rotation, cultivated cultures, their crop yields, the average values of presence in ground of nutrients, volumes of introduced fertilizers, etc. for each field. The second problem is connected with the concept of exact agriculture and the analysis of inhomogeneities within a single field. Thus, creating a base of history of the fields is necessary, which provides you an accumulation of data with a binding to the same working site of the field, including taking into account the inhomogeneities of the soil.

The information base of history of fields provides storage of attributive data on an arable land with a geo-binding to contours of fields and chronological accumulation of the information with reference to the crop year. In agriculture, year of harvest it is time of cultivation of culture in a period from one harvest up to another. Typically, year of harvest begins with the cultivation of stubble and ends with the moment of export of the crop from the field.
